An Introduction

With the continued collapse of Twitter, I find myself more and more interested in writing longer form content. This harkens back to my first days with mattwitmer.com and the golden age of blogging. Add to this a significant shift in my personal life, the potential of living in Beijing, China for a few years with my girlfriend, it felt like now is as good a time as any.

I can’t say with any certainty what exactly I’ll be writing about here. It could be gear, it could be life, it could be work. At the very least, I’ll be trying to document my trip to China in a few weeks.
